Originally unveiled at John Elliott‘s Fall/Winter 2018 presentation, the Nike M2K Tekno has captured the hearts of sneakerheads all over the world with its play on the chunky sneaker trend. Inspired by the recognizable Air Monarch, the M2K Tekno repurposes the Dadcore icon with a distinct fashion focused aesthetic. The rework sneaker adds to the shape of the original with more cutouts and additional panels of elevated materials. Along with the over-layering that dominates the sneaker, repositioned ventilation ports and multiple sized Swooshes serve as the main design elements of the upper. While a striking heel counter accents the sole unit found on the shoe which has been exaggerated with more distinct sculpting and dynamic lines.
