Nike Unveil the GO FlyEase - First Hands Free Trainers
Nike is pioneering the future of footwear with the release of its latest model, the Nike GO FlyEase - its first hands-free sneaker.
The trainer has been equipped with a bi-stable hinge, which ensures that its secure when in open and closed states, as well as the signature Nike GO FlyEase tensioner, to allow the wearer to "kick off" the shoe with ease.
Designed to fit a wide-range of active lifestyles, the GO FlyEase shows how design, innovation, and engineering can come together seamlessly.
On the design, champion fencer Bebe Vio said:
"Usually I spend so much time to get my shoes on – with the Nike GO FlyEase, I just need to put my feet in and jump on it.
"The shoes are a new kind of technology, not only for adaptive athletes, but for everyone's real life."
The Nike GO FlyEase official release date is February 15 – where it will be available via invite only, for select Nike Members, before a wider release later in the year – with the Oregon-based sportswear giant launching its new silhouette in a trio of colour options: Volt, Hyper Crimson, and Anthracite.
